Acrylic on board

Process piece of a collage of acrylic on board and cut paper. This piece shows my ability to use mixed material seamlessly.

This tryptic was created with acrylic paint. The assignment was to have rectilinear shapes and curvilinear shapes, and to have a transition of color schemes. These boards go from complementary colors, to cool colors to warm colors.

This color study was created using color aid paper, and the assignment was open to creating any type of arrangement using 2x2 squares. This piece shows my ability to match colors so that they flow with no obstructions.

This work was done with acrylic paint on board. The assignment was meant to teach an understanding of how high contrast versus low contrast can affect the visibility of changes.

The challenge of this project was to create a candle stick holder that is made of paper and will not catch on fire. The other challenge was to create it without any glue or tape. My solution was to use the candles themselves as the fasteners that kept the structure together.
